Dr. Montero-Diaz joins TidalHealth Edward Q. Wilgus Community Clinic in Salisbury

TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Karinnet Montero-Diaz, MD, to the TidalHealth Edward Q. Wilgus Community Clinic in Salisbury, Maryland.

Dr. Montero-Diaz earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts. She completed her internal medicine residency at TidalHealth and was a member of the inaugural class of residents to study at TidalHealth. Dr. Montero-Diaz served as chief resident in her final year. 
Dr. Montero-Diaz is a member of the American College of Physicians. Her clinical interest focuses on prevention and education, as she believes they go hand in hand to maximize a patient’s quality of life and minimize the risk of a serious health condition.

When Dr. Montero-Diaz is not treating patients, she enjoys making memories with her family, swimming, reading, watching a good movie or series, and listening to true crime podcasts. Now that she has completed her residency, she plans to resume learning Portuguese and American Sign Language.
