Robbin Hill Retires After Nearly 24 Years at Mid-Shore Community Foundation
Robbin Hill retired from Mid-Shore Community Foundation after 24 years. Robbin Hill, the first employee of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, has retired after nearly 24 years of service. Hill joined MSCF in 2001, when the organization had no staff and was led entirely by volunteers. Her interview took place on Sept. 12, 2001 — the day after the 9/11 attacks. “If this is real, it could be really great,” Hill recalled telling her husband that evening. Gettysburg Address Anniversary Reading to take place November 19th
On November 19, 1863. President Abraham Lincoln made "a few appropriate remarks" at the dedication of the Soldiers National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Due to predicted heavy showers on Thursday, Oct. 30, TidalHealth has chosen to partner with the Salisbury Mall and move its annual Trunk or Treat halloween event inside the mall. The event will still be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. near the entrance to Boscov’s and the performance stage. For All Seasons Event Debuts Heart to Heart: Coloring Together
Heart to Heart: Coloring Together, a unique new coloring book produced by For All Seasons and created by the agency’s art therapist Jane P. Gordon, LCPAT, ATR-BC, recently debuted at a special tea party for girls and their adult female caregivers. The event held at Brookletts Place in Easton featured a tea party-themed lunch for girls and their parents, mentors, or caregivers. Summer Reading KickOff Party at Cambridge Public Library
The Dorchester County Public Library will be holding their Annual Summer reading KickOff Party on Saturday, June 14 from 12-2 p.m. in the Cambridge Library parking lot and along Spring Street (with a rain date of June 21, 12-2 p.m.). The Theme this year is "Color Our World". Last year, we had approximately 300 attendees, and look forward to having many again this year.
