The Dorchester County Economic Development office, in partnership with other Eastern Shore economic development agencies, is working to gather data from local businesses through the Summer 2025 Eastern Shore Business Sentiment Survey.

This survey provides a localized view of our business community, highlighting their concerns and expectations for the coming year. Your participation is essential to our efforts and helps ensure that our programs and resources align with the most pressing needs of Dorchester County businesses.

“We continue to gain valuable insight into local and regional sentiment, growth barriers, and industry-specific concerns,” says Susan Banks, Director of Dorchester County Economic Development. “Economic conditions can shift quickly, so monitoring these trends and analyzing survey feedback allows us to better focus our time and resources.”
