THIS FALL Main Street Gallery is proud to celebrate15 years as Cambridge's only artist-run cooperative with a Fall show of the works of its guest artist, local painter, Jose Ramirez. There will be a special Second Saturday gala reception on September 12 from 5-8 pm to honor the artist and mark the Gallery's milestone. Main Street Gallery's Summer Exhibit
MSG's Summer Exhibit, "Through the Lens of Mike Dougherty: In Plain Sight" For July and August, Main Street Gallery is pleased to be showing the wildlife photographs of Dorchester County resident, Mike Dougherty. Mike's work focuses on the varied and majestic wildlife found in regional forests, rivers and bays and even in the photographer's own backyard. Mike says he really began a deep dive into his craft back in 2021 and his interest in photography has only intensified in the five years
PAINTER, LAURA JENKINS IS FEATURED ARTIST FOR MSG’s MAY/JUNE EXHIBIT
Main Street Gallery is delighted to showcase the works of local painter Laura Jenkins for its spring show, titled “Sunrise to Sunset… and a few things in between”. Raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore Laura has a love of the area’s natural beauty which is clearly evident in her work. She says she draws deep inspiration for her oil paintings from the “region’s quiet marshes, open skies and dramatic sunsets”. Although the Berlin, MD artist is self-taught, she says she has been surrounded by art for as long
