Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. Seeks Commercial Broker for Cambridge Harbor Project

 Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. (CWDI) today announced the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for experienced commercial real estate brokers to market Cambridge Harbor—a transformative, 35-acre waterfront development on the Choptank River in Cambridge, Maryland.

Envisioned as a walkable, mixed-use destination inspired by the principles of new urbanism, Cambridge Harbor will integrate residential, retail, hospitality, and community spaces alongside a vibrant waterfront promenade. The project represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine Cambridge’s last major waterfront site.

“Cambridge Harbor is more than a development project—it’s about creating a legacy place for our community and a premier destination on Maryland’s Eastern Shore,” said Tim Crosby, CWDI’s Planning Committee Chair. “We are seeking a brokerage partner with the expertise, creativity, and reach to help us attract top-tier developers who can deliver on this vision.”

RFP Timeline:
  • RFP Release: September 26, 2025
  • Proposals Due: October 31, 2025 (midnight EST)
  • Broker Selection: November 26, 2025
 Interested respondents should contact CWDI at info@cwdimd.org to request an NDA.  Upon receipt of the signed NDA, CWDI will provide access to the RFP materials.   Proposals will be submitted electronically via Google Drive. Access to a folder specific to each respondent will be provided to the email addressed identified in the signed NDA.
