The Cambridge Empowerment Center is a non-profit (501c3), multi-use community center, located at 615 Pine Street in Cambridge, Maryland. It was opened in 2003 on the historical site of an African American school which was burned down during the riots of the 1960s. The Pine Street Committee, Inc., a nonprofit organization, is a board of directors, which oversees use and care of the building, as well as the programs.
The Center has several programs to help the community including an After- School Program, as well as a summer program for school aged children.
