Waterfowl Identification Workshop 
to be held at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge 
Improve your waterfowl identification skills and learn about the natural history of this fascinating group of birds at a Waterfowl Identification Workshop at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Join refuge staff and volunteers for a discussion of identification challenges, behavior and ecology at one of the best waterfowl locations on the Eastern Shore. This workshop is designed to help beginner and intermediate birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts become more confident in identification and build a deeper appreciation for waterfowl.  The workshop will begin in the classroom covering the basics, and then spend the remainder of the morning honing new skills on the refuge’s Wildlife Drive.
