Water/Ways: Skipjack Sail

Water/Ways: Skipjack Sail
As part of the Smithsonian Water/Ways exhibit and the celebration of our local waterways, the Skipjack Nathan of Dorchester offers two special cruises featuring docents from ShoreRivers and from the Nathan to share information about the river. The Skipjack Nathan of Dorchester is a traditional oystering vessel and an icon of the Chesapeake Bay. Each sail is unique depending on wind, weather, captain and crew. The Water/Ways sails will be offered:
October 19 (3:30-5:30pm)
November 2 (1-3pm)
Sails depart from Long Wharf Dock, near the corner of High and Water Streets in Cambridge, Maryland. Adults: $35, children 6-12: $10, under 6: free.

For details and to reserve by credit card, go to www.skipjack-nathan.org. The Nathan carries up to 20 passengers. The Nathan also offers cruises throughout the season as well as sunset cruises.
Visit our Water/Ways page for a full calendar of Water/Ways programming.
