Upcycle Workshop

Upcycle Workshop
The Furniture Flipping Females will offer a creative and fun  workshop on upcycling items for use in home decor from noon-2pm on Jan. 28 at the Heritage Museums and Gardens of Dorchester.
The Furniture Flipping Females is a retail store in Cambridge, Maryland, which has been in operation for more than three years and features owners Terri Collison and Susie Creighton and their mighty imaginations. These ladies have turned their hobby of reinventing furniture and other household goods into a business that also serves to inspire those who shop there.

For this workshop, attendees will have a choice of three projects: painting and decorating a wooden buoy, making a vintage-style American flag on wood, or to creating a “family” sign that has a place for pictures. Attendees can make their selection when they reserve their spot.

The cost for this workshop is $25 for members of the Dorchester County Historical Society or $30 for nonmembers. Please call 410-228-7953 or email dchs@verizon.net for questions or to reserve. The Heritage Museums is located at 1003 Greenway Drive, Cambridge.
