The History of Schools in Dorchester County Dating Back to the Mid-1800's

You're invited to visit the Cambridge Woman's Club on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00pm to enjoy a presentation about the early schools of Cambridge back to the mid 1800s. Ruth Clendaniel, a retired educator and longtime friend of Dorchester schools, will be sharing lots of interesting facts and photos from her years of researching and compiling history on the schools of Dorchester. This presentation will feature those schools that were part of Cambridge's early years of education. Locals and new residents will be surprised as to what great school history lies just around the corner. The public is invited!
