Ribbon Cutting: The Salvation Army of Cambridge to Open House of Hope Day Services Center

The Salvation Army of Cambridge is blessed to extend an invitation to attend a ribbon cutting event in recognition of the opening of their House of Hope Day Services Center on March 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM. The event will take place at 204 Washington Street in Cambridge, MD.

Located next to the main Corps building, the House of Hope Day Services Center will provide services to the homeless population, including showers, lunch, laundry, and access to phone and computer resources.
“Thanks to community and donor support, The Salvation Army of Cambridge was able to renovate the existing building, which includes painting, installation of new flooring, and furnishings,” said Captain Wendy Parsons with The Salvation Army of Cambridge. “Isolation caused by homelessness is further impacted during these pandemic times. This Center will provide a connection to resources across the Mid-Shore, restoring hope in the lives of those we will serve.” 

The Salvation Army of Cambridge has remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic and provided relief to hundreds of individuals and families from Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot Counties who came to their door seeking comfort.
