"Dorchester Farmers And Their Early Roots"
Carlton Nabb has spent his life in Dorchester County living and working within the farming community. He is a sixth-generation farmer of North Yarmouth Farm situated a few miles southeast of Cambridge. Carlton attended school in Cambridge, graduating with the 1964 class of Cambridge High School.
Carlton will discuss his latest book about Dorchester County’s rich farming heritage. In his book he has preserved the many tales and techniques of families that put Dorchester on the map for our agricultural history. Carlton will discuss the book in his humorous storytelling fashion.
The South Dorchester Folk Museum (SDFM), in cooperation with the Dorchester County Historical Society, presents this FREE program in its lecture series about local history. For more information about the SDFM, visit our website, www.sdfmuseum.net, or call 410-228-6175.
