Participants and volunteers are needed for the Poverty Simulation on Saturday, April 29.
Participants will assume the roles of family members living in poverty. Each participant will be given a script that will include their role in the family. They will have to make decisions and encounter the frustrations that families living in poverty experience every day.
Volunteers will fulfill the roles of service providers for the participants (families). The families will navigate among the volunteers representing agencies with pre-developed scenarios trying to obtain assistance.
