Fun Dog Show

Christ Episcopal Church is once again hosting their Annual Fun Dog Show in the American Legion on Route 50 by the bridge at the Choptank River in Cambridge. This event has grown into a local tradition. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and gegins with a blessing of all dogs and a parade of all dogs and their owners at 10 am. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and on a leash in order to compete. The first category entry is $5; additional categories, $4 each. A raffle features gift certificates from many local businesses, and in the past has included the newest American girl doll, a handmade quilt, and a Lionel train. The event is free to the public. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefits the Baywater Animal Rescue.
