Dorchester Youth Employment Initiative

Created to connect young people aged 16-21 to jobs that exist in Dorchester County collaboration between Moving Dorchester Forward, Dorchester County Public Schools, the Maryland Youth Apprenticeship Program, and the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce.

• Chamber Job Posting Board will be central spot for all youth jobs in the community
• All Chamber businesses can post jobs there for free
• Moving Dorchester Forward will promote and socialize throughout the community and in partnership with DCPS and all youth serving agencies in the County, as well as track the impact and outcomes
• Cross promotion and marketing will create awareness and support across the community
• Will be an ongoing initiative for current jobs available, summer employment, and beyond
