Dorchester Goes Purple 2025 Kick-Off

Join us for the 2025 Kick-off of Dorchester Goes Purple.  It is for the month of September and the objective of DGP is to help break the stigma of addiction by bringing awareness to the dangers of substance misuse and to encourage positive decision-making related to navigating the challenges of everyday life.

The event will be on the front and side lawn of the Dorchester County Building.  Lots to do and valuable information to share.

• Chalk art on sidewalks for kids
• Kid’s Zone games
• Dunk Tank fund raiser
• Town Crier Reading County Proclamation
• Presentations from the County Council and other members of the community
• Tables set up to share information from various providers of services that support the community
