City of Cambridge Election

The 2024 City of Cambridge Election is not on the same schedule as the general election.  Voting for the Mayor and all five Commissioner Seats will happen on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 7 a.m through 7 p.m.  Voting will be held at 447 Race Street, Cambridge, MD.  You can visit the City website for more details on voting:  https://www.choosecambridge.com/385/2024-General-Election

Here are the candidates that have filed to run for office in this election:

Mayor: Andrew Bradshaw, Lajan Cephas, and La-Shon Foster

Ward 1: Laurel Atkiss and Brett Summers.

Ward 2: Jermaine Anderson, Nancy Jackson, Jenna LeCompte, and Shay Lewis-Sisco

Ward 3: Gary Gordy and Frank Stout

Ward 4: Dave Cannon and Sputty Cephas

Ward 5: Brian Roche.

 Here are key dates to know about the city election:

September 27 at 4:00 pm: Deadline for voter registration - registration is done at Dorchester County Board of Elections - 1000 Goodwill Ave, Cambridge, MD

October 19: Election Day

December 3: Run-off election, if necessary
