The Chesapeake Maritime Heritage Festival in partnership with Downtown Cambridge will hold this debut event on June 26 and 27, 2021 at Ruark Boatworks, 103 Hayward St. in Cambridge, Maryland. This new event celebrates the area’s maritime culture and history with an array of boats on display, maritime exhibits, and informative talks. Topics include the Choptank River Lighthouse – talks noon each day, the Thomas Point Lighthouse – 2pm each day, the Skipjack Nathan of Dorchester – 11am each day, and Turkey Point Light Station – 1pm each day. Live music can be enjoyed Saturday from 3 to 5pm with Fog After Midnight featuring Kevin Diaz. Come out and experience this debut Maritime Heritage Celebration in Cambridge with so much to learn and enjoy! Hours are 10am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets cost:
$8 per person, $15 per family per day.
$11 per person, $19 per family weekend.
