We invite you to join us for the August Chamber Business Lunch at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort and Spa.  Our speaker will be Dr. Jymil Thompson, Superintendent of Dorchester County Public Schools (DCPS).  Dr. Thompson will be presenting the recently completed DCPS Strategic Plan.  Since taking on the role of Superintendent Dr. Thompson has been driving the school system to create a plan to meet the goal of “23 no more” and get DCPS ranked within the top 15 counties in the State of Maryland.  Whether you have children or grandchildren in DCPS or not, what happens within our schools has an impact on you and the future of our county.  This will be a great opportunity to learn how DCPS plans to educate our most valuable resource: the children in Dorchester County.   This event will provide you with a great opportunity to network with key business and community leaders from around the region. Also worth noting, it is being held at an excellent venue with outstanding food, so register now to reserve your spot as we do expect this event to sell out.

As of August 6th: Members: $30, Non-Members $40

Cancellations must be received by noon on the Friday prior to event to obtain a refund or avoid a charge, since the facility/caterer will charge the Chamber for your reservation. If cancellation is made the day of the meal, there will be a charge.
