The first meeting scheduled on Thursday, September 4th will be focused on the Long Wharf Park Area. Community members indicated that they would like to hear more about the Flood Mitigation Project specifically in the Long Wharf Area. We had previously conducted a Flood Mitigation Project public meeting specific to the Gerry Boyle Park area, and at the meeting, requests were made to host a similar meeting for the Long Wharf Park Area. We hope you will join us on September 4th at 6PM in the Council Chambers located at 305 Gay Street!
The second meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, September 9th and will be focused on the Flood Mitigation Project 30% Design.
Feedback received from previous meetings held on the preliminary alignment have been integrated into the 30% design. In addition to presentation for the 30% design, Dr. Kenny Rose, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, Horn Point Laboratory will discuss habitat enhancement opportunities. We hope you will join us on September 9th at 6PM in the meeting room at the Dorchester County Public Library, Cambridge Branch!
