Cambridge City Special Election

A special election to fill the unexpired terms for the Cambridge City Council’s Wards 1 and 5 commissioners is set for Tuesday, June 6.
The special election will take place on June 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
Only individuals residing in Wards 1 and 5 are eligible to run or vote.

Ward 1 and Ward 5 residents who wish to vote in the special election and who are not already registered to vote have until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17 to register. Registration must be done at the Dorchester County Board of Elections office in Cambridge.

Residents of Wards 1 and 5 who wish to vote by mail will be able to request an absentee ballot from the City of Cambridge as soon as Friday, May 12.

The Candidates running for election are:
Ward One: Laurel E. Atkiss and Chad Malkus
Ward Five: Robert G. Aaron, Cleveland L. Ribbons, and Brian R. Roche
