Beginner's Wheel

Robert Gladney will be teaching "Beginner's Wheel" at Dorchester Center for the Arts, Wednesdays, 6-8p, from May 22  through June 26 (6 classes). Cost is $145/Members and $180/Future Members.

The perfect class for newcomers to the wheel! Learn the basic tools and techniques needed to throw a variety of vessels on a pottery wheel. Participants will create cylinders and bowls, learn the fundamentals of making more complex projects, and glaze their own works. Class includes all tools and materials, but students should have trimmed fingernails and dress to get messy! Open to ages 16 and up.
